Threadneedle Craft will hold craft workshops for kids during the Christmas school holidays.
The workshops will include beading, beginners' sewing, paper-crafts, as well as other crafts to inspire kids' creativity.
Workshops will be held at Shop 2/52A Vincent Street (in the Coles walkway). Class sizes will be limited to 6 so it is recommended to book in advance.

Daylesford's Makers' Market is on again just in time for Xmas!
The venue will be the Daylesford Town Hall in Vincent Street on Saturday, 28 November between 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
Over 30 unique designers & makers will display gorgeous & original hand-made gifts that will be available for purchase.
The venue will also feature music & cosy cafe.

We are excited to announce that Threadneedle Craft will be re-locating from its current location in Daylesford to a great new location in the Coles walkway, next to Kabuki!
Since its opening less than two years ago, Threadneedle Craft is already expanding! The new shop is bigger & will allow us to increase our product range.
The central location will also be more convenient for locals & visitors to call in. The new shop address is Shop 2/52A Vincent Street.
To enable the move, we will close for a few days commencing on Monday, 31 August. We hope to re-open on Friday, 4 September.
Submissions are invited from artists, students & community groups for "The Art from Recycled Materials Exhibition" to be held in Creswick at the Albert Hall Gallery & Persephone's Garden from 25 October to 1 November 2009.
The exihibition will be for 2D, 3D, indoor & outdoor artworks. The only requirement is that recycled materials are used with a focus on the theme of environmental sustainability.
There is a $5 entry fee per exhibit (excluding entries from schools), with all proceeds including gold coin donations, going to the Bald Hills-Creswick Landcare Group.
Art works are to be submitted on Friday, 16 October at the Albert Hall Gallery, 107 Albert Street, Creswick.

We have had a great time during the September school holidays, with lots of classes having been held.
At the same time, we've been working on several classes for next quarter. Some classes will have a Christmas theme but others will have a simple focus on fun. Check our website soon for updates.
Now the school holidays are nearly finished, we'll be taking a short break. We will be closed from Monday, 6 October and re-open on Saturday, 11 October.

We are really pleased to have received this recognition from HRTA, particularly since Threadneedle Craft Daylesford commenced only six months ago.
Craft was an absolute winner during the evening with Purl's Palace, a retailer of specialty yarns, stylish handknits & oriental themed crafts in Daylesford, as winner in the Retail Category.
Inspire U2 Shine, a retailer of local art & handcrafted gifts in Daylesford & Jargon a retailer of handcrafted clothing in Trentham also won awards during the evening.

The workshops include card-making, simple picture frames, t-shirt motifs and lots of beading classes to make a necklace & earrings, bookmark, flower fridge magnet & a ring.
There will also be card-making classes for parents & older children, including a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research on Saturday, 4 October.
