Threadneedle Craft - Daylesford

about us

Threadneedle Craft was established by Merrilyn Sim & her husband, David in March 2008.

Merrilyn & David moved with their young family from the city to Daylesford & opened their craft store for a "tree change"

In September 2009, less than two years later, Threadneedle Craft expanded & moved to a bigger & more prominent location in the Coles walkway.  The move allowed Merrilyn & David to increase their product range & has made it easier for customers to call in.

Daylesford is the perfect destination for craft & art lovers. Amidst its talented & diverse artistic community, Daylesford is renowned for its mineral springs & natural beauty & is endowed with a rich heritage.

Threadneedle Craft has something for people of all ages, whether craft enthusiasts or beginners. For those visiting the region, we stock a quality range of craft & art supplies you would normally expect to find in the city. For locals, we also stock the "essentials", reducing the need to travel to distant towns for craft basics.

Merrilyn's interest in craft has developed over many years. Her specialty is needlework, but her interest has extended to patchwork & beading in recent years.

Considering people's hectic lifestyles today, Merrilyn believes craft is important. It provides relaxation, a sense of achievement & an opportunity to spend time & learn from others who share similar interests.

Craft is also a great fun activity for kids.

We look forward to greeting you when you next visit Daylesford!
